Frequently asked questions

Can I create a QR code for PayPal?

Yes. Use your PayPal.Me link (e.g. paypal.me/yourname) or the link to your PayPal payment request. Paste it into our URL QR code generator and download the QR code.

What about Venmo and Cash App?

Venmo and Cash App provide profile or payment links. Copy that link, create a URL QR code with it, and display it. Some services also offer their own QR codes — you can use ours to combine payment with a custom design or tracking.

Is it safe to put payment links in a QR code?

Yes. The QR code only encodes a URL. The actual payment happens on the secure payment provider's page (PayPal, Venmo, your bank, etc.). Never encode sensitive data like passwords — only public payment links.

Can I track how many people scanned my payment QR code?

Yes, with a dynamic QR code (paid plan). You can see scan counts and optionally use UTM parameters to track conversions in your payment provider or Google Analytics.

Can I change the payment link after printing?

Only with a dynamic QR code. You keep the same printed QR and update the destination URL (e.g. switch to a new PayPal link) without reprinting. Static QR codes cannot be changed.
